Like the first book in this series, I found this novel to be a page-tuner. I really enjoy historical novels based on World War II. Especially if they follow history correctly and keep the plot as realistic as possible.
So far the books in this series have really limited the sex aspect you find in novels W.E.B. Griffin co-wrote with his son. So I'm looking forward to the third novel in this series, but am leery of the fourth, as his son co-wrote that one. If you read my reviews of the "Men At War" series, William Butterworth IV believes female characters should only have one dimension, and that is horizontal.
Also, unlike the "Men at War" series, there is very little rehash of previous books in the series, except where it is essential to the plot. In the "Men At War" series it seemed the first one-third of each book was a rehash of the previous one or two novels.
