This was my first return back to the Indian romance genre after many years. I remember previously liking Cassie Edwards. However, I don't know if romance writing has evolved since I last read Ms. Edwards, or if I have evolved. Whichever. But I was VERY disappointed in this book. I thought the writing was on an elementary level, the characterization was weak with no depth or complexity and the plot was average. I hope this book is an anomaly and not representative of the genre, or I won't be back (for another 10 years, I guess).
