While the topic is important, this book is too rudimentary in its analyses and some of the specific assertions are questionable. For example, the author starts by defining Accountability as "preventing something from going wrong" (pg 10). This definition follows Webster's, which was more complete. One of the largest problems is the idea that accountability is not about what you are responsible for but what others think you are responsible for. This fosters the idea that to "win" with accountability, one must simply manage expectations and play political games of blame/credit moving. I was not impressed with this 100-page book.
