As a young girl, Sibyl lived in a magic land conjured by a lonely child's imagination, filled with noble princes, fierce desert chieftains, evil sorceresses, beautiful mythic creatures. A world of wonder and magic. She called the lands of her world by exotic names, and she fancied it lay just beyond the windowsill of a crumbling New England mansion. Then Sibyl grew up, and her childhood fantasy became just a dim memory as remote as a dream half-remembered. Until the Players of Ornat gathered in the moonlit forest of Tredana and called her home again...
Not a bad book. Worth reading, just not at the top of my list.
