Published in 2004, these stories are a meld of vintage Bradbury with recent tales. The sequencing jumps back and forth between stories that were published in the 1946 to early 1950s period to some from the 21st century. With an exception or two, I found his writing to be less choppy, more fluent, than in many stories that I have read prior to these. In his introduction, he sheds some light on how several of them were conceived.
