I really liked this book. It was dark and rough without over-the-top gore, and full of action. There was just a hint of romance which should be interesting to watch develop in future books. The character of Annalise ("Drew") was very likable. I was thrilled to finally read a YA paranormal with a smart, strong heroine! I can't wait to read the next one in this series to see how the story develops.
