If you have any interest in the Holocaust, then read this book. Altho it is fiction, so much of it is probably accurate. It's a wonderful story, and held my interest right to the end.
It starts out with the mother, who is a young adult during the war. She has a daughter by her Jewish boyfriend, and eventually the book also picks up the daughter's story.
