I would call this book solidly middle of the road. Nothing particularly new, shocking, or boring. The plot is good enough for a short romance, the sex scenes are ok, the leads likeable enough. The short time line from when these two first broke up, she becomes the darling dressmaker of London and he returns, should have been doubled, as 4 years just didn't fit. But a small matter. I guess I am damning with faint praise, but there you go.
