Kristin Hannah has done it again. From the first page I was hooked. I read the book in a week, which is amazing since the last few years I've been lucky to read 20 pages a day!
It is the story of Elsa, who was unloved as a child and in seeking love, fell in love with Rafe Martinelli, a dreamer who ends up leaving his family during the worst of times.
The more things change, the more they remain the same, is a thought that came to mind while reading this book. The rich keep getting richer on the backs of the poor.
