This book was not good enough to finish. From page one the main character, Blair Mallory, was annoying me beyond belief. Was this a grown woman or an adolescent talking?
I didn't like the "chatty" writing style or the flaky and juvenile heroine enough to spend 250 pages with her. It's pretty bad when you don't care whether someone kills her or not, right? LOL
Very disappointed in Linda Howard with this one. Can't recommend it. Instead, try ALL THE QUEEN'S MEN or NOW YOU SEE HER.
