For the most part, I enjoyed this book. The characters had depth and likability, and the setting/plot was fun. My reservations about it center solely on certain scenes where the author seemed to lose track of what body parts were where and had the characters doing things that are physically impossible to do simultaneously. Very jarring. Were it not for that, I'd read more of Ms McCarthy's books, because this was an entertaining beach read.
