Tenth mystery in the Scumble River Mystery series, featuring amateur sleuth Skye Denison. This story revolves around the annual Soup-To Nuts cooking contest, sponsored by Scumble River's own local business, Gramma Sal's Fine Foods. Skye's mother May has entered Skye (who basically can't cook much of anything) in the contest to make her Chicken Supreme casserole. But Skye gets distracted from the cooking contest by the murder of one of the other contest finalists, a missing girl from her high school newspaper, and her boyfriend Wally's odd behavior. This was another excellent mystery in this great series.
