I liked the book which was mainly about life in the early days of the mining town of Breckinridge, Co. Life was pretty rough and women stuck together and talked while they were quilting.
It was an easy read--nice to read before bed. It was not that mentally challenging but I ordered it mainly because of its location as I have an elderly friend who grew up nearby. It is now being passed around among her neighbors.
