I'm glad "The Love Doctor" got his own book. I don't remember much about Brynley from previous books (but then it has been a year since I read the last one). I appreciate her reasons for behaving like she was, but then her attitude was adjusted as the book progressed. I liked the "showdown" between her and her dad (and the outcome).

I thought it was weird that werewolves owned (and got along with just fine) horses. (But then they were ranchers). I enjoyed Digger and the moment between Phineas and "Big Boy 1000 EXTREME!".

This series has a great cast of characters. This wasn't the worst and it wasn't a favorite. Put this one somewhere in the middle.
