Perry, Jan, and their son Daniel are returning from a visit to Jan's famil, when their car breaks down in a little town. The town takes care of them, and the couple go to a local pub where an old lady asks them about an interesting manuscript which might by by a Bronte! Perry suggests places for her to take it for verification, and from their begins a tale of liteature & death. It appears that someone else is after the papers, and will stop at nothing to get them. As Perry, who happens to be from Scotland Yard, met the lady, he is assigned the case, and goes on a search for the papers which were stolen, and the thieves and others involed.

This is an interesting book written with a Britsh flair. It does describe Britist areas and customs, and taught me some about the country. The mystery does get a little involved, keeping the interest. Go ahead - order it and read it! Enjoy!
