This book is unique because it contains a paragraph or two about each book that is included. In the back there are indexes by Subject, Author, and Publisher. This is a good tool to use to find lesbian books published from 1980 to 1995. Fiction and non-fiction are included. Quite a few books that are not marked as lesbian in library catalogs but that have lesbian content are included. This book was an American Library Association award finalist the year it was published.
