This was such a cute book. Although Alona (the newest resident ghost)is way too self centered, it fits with the story and theme.
Will is one of those troubled kids who can see and talk to the dead. He just wants to make through high school and move away somewhere quiet. Hes got a massive amount of problems, including a princial determined to make his life miserable, and a shrink determined to lock him up.
Alona just wants to find her bright light before she dissapears for good. She seeks out Will's help to do so. This book shows how the unlikeliest of friends can happen, and people are not always what they appear to be.
I loved how the author wrote each chapter from either Will's or Alona's point of view. At first I was skeptical about the writing style, but it flowed easily and turned into a real page turner. It's a great read that both teens and adults are sure to love. Im excited about the next book comming out soon.
