Kira Jameson works at a resort that has just been purchased by an unnamed buyer. With Christmas almost on the horizon, she worries if she will have a job after the new year. The rumor is that the new owner wants to make all sorts of changes.

Jason Greene has a secret that he isn't keen on sharing. Seven years ago, he turned his back on his fiance and his family, joining the military. Now, he's been discharged because of medical reasons, so he returns back home, where he hasn't been in over seven years.

Kira is shocked when she realizes that Jason is her new boss, the new owner. She also realizes that Jason isn't the same person he was all of those years ago, he's much angrier. But when a chance snowstorm traps the two of them together, will they be able to reconnect and rekindle some of those feelings from all of those years ago? Will Kira be the healing balm Jason needs to move forward in is life?
