First off, I was not aware this was a young adult book when I got it. I'm glad that I didn't know, because I wouldn't have read it if I had as that's just not normally what a woman in her mid 30s would enjoy. But it was a really fun book! It took me back to my high school days, and all the intensity of first loves and cliques and all the rest. I wish we could have gotten to know Ed better, but that's kind of the appeal of the book. It's true to life in that you never really know what another person is thinking. The first-person narrative was not nearly as annoying as I feared either. A light and fun read!
