I appreciate the imagination of authors and this one is a BIG imagination of events

Cassie is a vet (not that it matters), Sam is a school teacher, they have 2 kids

Then Cassie helps a woman in distress along side of the road by saving her from being killed---well that was mistake

Cassie identifies the person to the police and they immediately know who it is--okay--but does that stop Cassie? No, because then her husband goes missing and she finds out he was having an affair and she continues to investigate on her own (really?)

When I got to the middle of this book it still wasn't clear what was going on and I had to skim a lot of pages that were just descriptions that just didn't matter, finally I hit just the right page that gets you into what exactly this story is about and from that point it went pretty fast----but I don't consider this a great book to recommend, it took me about 6 hours to read this but as I said I had to skip and skim the pages that just don't mean anything (descriptions that I didn't need to move the story forward)

It'll probably get rave reviews but for me I barely give it 3 stars
