Is it possible to give 10 stars?
I have DEVOURED this book. It was breathtaking. I don't think I've ever cried AFTER finishing a book but with this one I did. I simply can't say enough good things about this book. Bryony was the perfect heroine in my book, strong and smart but with emotions she kept hidden from those close to her, until.... And Leo. Holy Mary he was it for me. There's one section where he thought he wasn't going to be alive much longer so he wrote Bryony a letter and the last thing he said was " And that you will remember me not as a failed husband, but one who was still trying, til the very end." If there was ever a keeper, this book is it. A+++
I don't even know if I can start another book today, after reading this one. All else will pale in comparison.
