I haven't read the first one but I enjoyed the 2nd one without knowing those details. Very fast paced and a quick read. Though I think Leslie's character could have been developed a bit more. There are some "sex" scenes in this book if you don't want your children reading that then I would not recommend this book, but I enjoyed it myself.
