A delightful must-read ~ I thoroughly enjoyed book #2 in the Bride Hunt series. A perennial wallflower, bespectacled Charlotte Greene has a dry internal wit that had me laughing out loud from page two on. Loved a number of other quirky characters as well like Charlotte's mother Hyacinth, Rothbury's semi-senile grandmother Louisette and even lecherous old Witherby, Charlotte's persistent suitor. Then there's Rothbury, the handsome hero who fell in love with Charlotte way back in Book #1 but restrains himself until the very end of this book to reveal it. On her website, author Olivia Parker says she is writing a third book, Rosalind Devine's story. Hope it comes out soon and is as good as this one.
