Dead and Breakfast is the debut of the A Merry Ghost Inn featuring Melanie West and her grandmother, Liza Harris. The two women have purchased an old home in Sully's Landing, Oregon and are turning it into a B & B, the Merry Ghost Inn.
The ladies are well into the renovations on the old house and looking forward to a grand opening in a few weeks, when they stumble upon a skeleton hidden behind a wall. The skeleton is soon identified as Angela Morelli, the previous owner of the home, who'd been thought to have run away from her husband Vince.
In an effort to speed up the police investigation so they can open on schedule, the ladies join forces with Officer Ben Carter and begin digging into the past lives of the Morelli's, and the original home owners and town founders, the Sullivans. But, someone isn't happening with their snooping and soon several attempts are made on Melanie's life.
A fun cast of characters that include the laughing resident ghost, affectionately dubbed Orville by Liza. An adopted furry dog Max will tug at your heartstrings. Hoping there are many more adventures at the Merry Ghost Inn.
