Beautiful Bastards was a great read. Easy, fun and very, very sexy. I've read a lot of romance/erotica and sometimes the storyline suffers because all the author is interested in is providing the reader with startling sex. However, the author team known as Christina Lauren was able to do both--give us an interesting story with likeable characters and very hot sex scenes--one right after another without the rest of the story being empty glue holding the sex scenes together. It's a fun book and a quick read--a great piece of erotic fiction. My only complaint is that, like so many other books before it, (**small spoil alert**) the main characters reunite after a long separation and instantly forgive each other and fall back into the relationship again. Great ending, but not very realistic. But then again, I don't read this stuff for the realism, but for the escape they provide. And Beautiful Bastards was a fun, sizzling, entertaining escape.
