This was a great story. It pulled me in from the first page and held me right up to the end. It is told from the point-of-view of a 9-year-old girl, Button. It tells the story of the summer she met her first true friend, Winnalee. Winnalee and her sister, Freeda, blow into town and no one is ever the same.
