Thoughts:
Ahh this book's so neat!! I did not think I was going to like it as much as I did, I'm so glad I was wrong. I loved this story Janette Rallison created. Great book about fairy tales, completely different from any other fairy tales out there.
I really felt for the protagonist, Savannah. Poor poor kid (16 yrs old but I like saying kid okay?). Her older sister betrayed her tsk tsk tsk by stealing her boyfriend, then afterwards both bastards pretty much acted like Savannah was the weird one for not forgiving them. Those turds!! Anywho....Savannah's dork of a Fairy, I mean Fair Godmother Chrysanthemum Everstar (neato name huh?), a cool sometimes pink haired funny teenager, messed up Savannah's wishes and because of her silly self Tristan, this guy from her school, ended up in the middle ages until he can become a prince. Savannah has to go back to help him get out, until then they're both pretty much stuck there, with no electricity, indoor plumming, clean water, etc. :(
This book made me laugh out loud at times and I just had to finish the book after first starting it, I finished it in one sitting thankyouverymuch :D It's just that entertaining. :) So, I would recommend this one if you're looking for a nice fun read. Ooooh and guess what?!! There's gonna be a sequel and I CAN'T wait to find out what Chrissy's next assigment is (!!!!!).
The cover-I didn't like that the cover doesn't show Chrissy's wings, that makes me sad :( but it makes me happy to make myself believe that the wings were fluttering so fast it couldn't be captured on film :) hehe other than that it's really pretty I especially love the background.
