I found this book to be nothing but obnoxious. Rather than funny, he came across as whiny and somehow pathetically jealous of what he didn't have, rather than poking fun at it. I hope Rakoff never tries to be a standup comedian, because he simply isn't funny.
It's sad actually, It could have been so much better.
