it's been a year since i read wicked, but i remember i just could not put it down. especially during the first part. it did get a little political, but i was okay with that. i breezed through that part (though it felt very much like required reading at that particular point), because i wanted to get back to elphelba.
her character had be absolutely enthralled. overall, i loved the book and am looking forward to seeing the musical... which, from what i am reading on here is pretty different.
