A brutal read about lobotomies by a man who rec'd one at the age of 12 for misbehavior, but mostly because his step mother hated him and wanted him out of the house. I was amazed to see how many people (mostly women, of course) rec'd them and that the medical institution at first accepted them. Too depressing to read again, so I'm posting it online.
