This book was pleasantly surprising. I cannot wait to read the next book, The Slayer. The story is about 3 brothers who are hunters. They hunt and kill demons, but even the best laid plans can go south. Colt, the youngest of the three brothers needs a demon to help open a door that is hiding 1/3 of a book needed to close the gates of hell. He summons a succabus demon and then things get really interesting. . . The Slayer is about the oldest brother Winchester. Yes, they were all named after their father's favorite weapons. The twists and turns in this story keep you interested. The setting is Arizona during the beginning before many settlers came but after the Lost Dutchman Mine legend, but with a twist.
I have never read "steampunk" before, it is just different enough from the normal demon/vampire/shapeshifter worlds before this to make it worth reading.
