Coming Attractions is the journal of Daisy Fay Harper, named for a vase of flowers in her mother's hosptial room. The journal begins in 1952 when Daisy Fay is a lonely eleven-year-old child and ends six years later when she becomes the assured and flamboyant winner of the Miss Mississippi Contest.
