This was the first book I read by Ms. Barry and one of the first Science Fiction Romances I read. I was hooked by the opening and had fun reading this. It dealt with some deep issues, human slavers, greed and self-preservation. I liked the romance. I thought it was good.

I went out after reading this and bought all of the rest of Ms. Barry's sf books.
