This book was such a surprise--an unexpected page-turner!! Yes, Rosie discusses her childhood which was often sad, but her own history is alternated with her recent obsession of helping a stranger, a young pregnant girl in crisis. Both stories were thoroughly engrossing. Her writing style is vivid and unfussy. Once I started it, I coudn't put it down. Very recommended.
