After reading the first book in this series, I really enjoyed it and was looking forward to the sequel. My opinion of Crescendo was not a good one, and the only thing that was keeping me reading the series was my insane need to know whats going to happen next. Consequently, my expectations for Silence were not that high.
However, Im happy to say that this book was a huge improvement over the previous two. Nora has to relearn everything she found out in the first two books, because someone erases the past five months from her memory. Perhaps its because shes a bit older now, so maybe shes wiser, but I felt like she handled things a lot better this time around. Shes not nearly as jealous, in fact she feels feelings of jealousy at times and pushes them away, realizing theres a lot more going on than the fact that she doesnt entirely know where Patch stands with her.
