I'll start by stating that Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorite authors & this book proved that I'll read anything she write.
Do NOT read this....skip ahead to her re-write titled "When Strangers Marry". While it's an overall good story, there are too many scenes when Lysette acts so submissive that it rang false to other scenes and how this character was being presented...reminded me too much of the old '70s Harlequin Romances...UGH.
Almost every scene I disliked was re-written superbly in "When Strangers Marry"...you'll be much happier with that version.
