Not the best Jeffries book I've ever read. The action didn't start to heat up until chapter 15, some 240 pages into the story. It is MHO that about 75 or so pages could have been cut from this book and not harm the story at all. The book wrapped up satisfactorily but on my rating scale of 1-4, I could only rate it a 2.
