This is not a book you can read from cover to cover, and it is not a page turner in the traditional sense, unless you are a student with class requirements. However, I read it out of curiosity. It could have been an incredibly dull book, but the author throws in some humor occasionally and that makes it much more palatable. Based on a lot of research, he explains the natural and cultural borders that resulted from wars, natural contours, colonial grants, and Congressional decisions. It was very interesting to learn so much in a small book. D.
