A little shorter than I'm used to for an Anne Rice book, but still enjoyed the little read.
Our hero, Toby continues exactly where he left off in the first book. Reacquainting himself with the past, as well as accepting the second assignment from Malchiah. This time around we are introduced to the biblical form of evil instead of just the tangible ones we might encounter every day.
Not exactly salivating here for the next book since Toby is not our ever so lovable Prince Brat, Lestat! Don't get me wrong - Toby is no angel and we want him to succeed...but he doesn't draw you in like Lestat or Louis or Marius or even Pandora.
