I think this book was written for people like me: raised in church, but not religious as adults. I laughed out loud at parts of this book. I had to read certain sections to my husband and he laughed.

This is the first (but not last) Christopher Moore book I've read. He reminds me a lot of Tom Robbins: completely irreverent, over-the-top humor and slightly annoying obsession with sex.
