Summer of 1979 five Chicago women went missing. Angela Mitchell went missing after she unmasked the killer known as The Thief. Rory Moore in 2019 has taken over the case after her father has died. Rory has OCD and reconstructs crime scene details others fail to see. The Thief is about to be paroled but Rory's cryptic files found in her father's law office suggests that there is more to this case. Terrifying truths start to emerge. Book is a page-turner that has many twists and turns and a very surprise ending. Looking forward to reading her next book and I highly recommend this one.
