Amazing book! It definitely didn't start out that way. It is about a group of people that come together in a support group to talk about the trauma that each one has been through. Sounds okay but then you start listening to the group and it is hard to like a single member. Just when you wonder what you got yourself into, the group delves in deeper. These people have not only been through trauma but at supernatural hands. As we learn each individual story, we learn more about them. We see there is more to the group and by the end you not only cringe at the horrors that they been put through but you also fall in love with each one of them.
This is my first Daryl Gregory book and I can't wait to pick up another! So deeply impressed!!
