Maddie Springer is in a whole heap of international trouble in this hilarious 4th installment by Gemma Halliday. As we open the book, Maddie gets hits by a car, breaking her leg! To make matters worse, shes off to Paris to show her shoe line at Fashion Week! Strutting around Europe in a cast and crutches is not and easy task when your trying to solve a murder of a model who was stabbed in the neck with a stilletto heel. (designed by the one and only Maddie) Now deemed the "Couture Killer" Maddie's face is recognised all over Europe! She ends up at a racy S&M club, and arressted twice in 2 different countries! Felix the sleazy tabliod reporter is not hot on her tail, and Maddie & Ramirez are at their breaking point!

With a full cast of colorfull, offbeat characters; visions of "Project Runway"; dead Models, shoes as murder weapons; Trans-genders secrets, Jewel thiefs, and romance, the reader is in for a wild ride! I am so pleased to learn that this series is going to be a made into a tv show soon! The characters are loveable and believeable, and the mystery is well resolved.

I am proud to say i had the killer pegged 1/2 way through, and I successfully envisioned the very last scene of the book 1/3 of the way through. This is a great book! I highly reccommend this series to anyone who loves the Bubbles Yablonski books.

Even though this book can stand alone, its better to read them all in order from the first book. That way you can fully appreciate to relationships involved here!
