I really liked this book. I started on book two unfortunately, but now that I've read it I can't wait to read book one and all the rest. The characters are well defined and the detail gives you a good idea of what the characters look like and what's going on around them.
Book 2 in the series is about Megan Mitchell. She a blond bombshell with a sharp mind. She has the confidence to match her biting wit, that hides how sweet she really is and she has a knack for picking the wrong men, their either emotionally unavailable, looking for just a good time, bad boys and players. With her thirtieth birthday sneaking up on her, she believes she needs a new plan. Enough is enough, it's time for no more Mr. Wrongs or Mr. Bads, its time to find Mr. Safe and Mr. Family man.
Army Captain, Reed Porter, lives for the thrillhes an Airborne Jump-master with an addiction to the rush he feels when he's thrill seeking. Hes sexy and playful, and he quickly tempts Meagan with his rich Southern drawl and sinful looks. But slowing down and settling down are not in his agenda, making him exactly the type of man Meagan wants to avoid Never mind that he seems to be using all those thrills as a way to hid some heavy emotional baggage.
As their undeniable attraction heats up, Meagan has to decide if shes willing to risk everything on a chance of love and forever with a reckless charmer. This second installment was a definite page turner. The up's and downs of their emotional pit's were hard at times to read and made it that much harder to put down. I loved reading this book.
