Rarely do I have trouble getting into a book and have it keep my interest, basically I'm pretty easy to write for and to get along with but Dark Time just threw me for a loop. I don't mind the building up of characters but the truth is that I had no more an idea about the main character even after several chapters of telling just about her killing for the demon and her own inhibitions then her bargain for freedom, then we are thrust into the present where we are suddenly introduced to new characters that we are slowly introduced to and well for me the book didn't grab my attention although I tried to struggle through it hoping for a better story to emerge, perhaps it did I just didn't care enough to read any more of the book after 150 pages.
