Sheila Mallory is not happy when her loathsome cousin, Bernard, comes to Taviscombe loking for information to complete his family tree. Sheila has better things to do than listen to his pompous lectures and watch him berate his mousy wife. But Bernard dies suddenly in his rented cottage. Someone wanted Bernard out of the way since he was digging up much to much dirt on the family. The killer could be more than kin, and less than kind.
