This is a truly gorgeous book, whether you may be a manga fan or not. Fumi Yoshinaga is a master of facial expression and making everyday scenes significant and she uses both of these skills powerfully here. There are five interlocking stories here in this book (the last two of which are my favorites) and all bring something different to the table. Some are funny, some might make you cry. All of them will make you think about your own relationships with the women in your life. I definitely recommend this books to all daughters and mothers. Guys will be able to enjoy this manga too, but it was written with women in mind.
