Of the three books in the 100 Cupboard trilogy, this was my second favorite. As with Dandelion Fire, I found that the representation of evil and the elements of the spider web and fingers were just a little too much for me to visualize at times. I found them very disturbing. I did enjoy how the series concluded. The imagery and writing once again was very well done. There is much symbolism to concentrate on, but if you choose not to, you will not have difficulty following the plot or the point of the story.
