Tucker Matthews has moved to Lovett, Texas, to begin a new job. When he buys a house in a nice neighborhood, he meets his new neighbor Lily Darlington. He finds he can't keep his mind off of her. Lily has been trying to live down a reputation for being crazy after running her car into her ex-husband's house several years ago. Lily doesn't want a relationship, especially with a younger man. And since she has a young son, she doesn't want people gossiping about her. But it's getting harder and harder to resist Tucker.
This was a short story which was light on plot. Tucker and Lily meet and are immediate infatuated with each other. They start a secret relationship which he doesn't want to hide from others. She is afraid people with gossip. I was bored with this story. My rating: 2 Stars.
