Everyone should read a book like this. It makes you understand you have a right to a second or even third opinion. Doctors are not gods and if they don't communicate with you or make you uncomfortable with what they are telling you, you have every right to consult with another doctor. These actual case studies of what happens to people who do seek that second opinion should be a warning to all of us that doctor's are human and not infallible!!
